1. Do I have to book online?

Yes, you need to go through the internet to make bookings online using our website.


1a.  Do I need a Visa?

Yes and no. Depending on which country you come from, some require visa and some not. Please go here to find out more.  Visa Requirement Listing according to country


2. How do I book from the website online system?

Choose your destination then decide on the packages, hotels, transport and etc from the Tour Packages and Hotels separately if you wish to choose your own accomodation.

3. How do I choose the packages offered from the website?

Choose from the list of Tour Packages . You may also opt to choose from the category in the page.

4. How do I know which trips are available?

Only trips available will be shown out in the Tour Packages list or in the category.

4a) If you are visiting Sarawak or Sabah or Puerto Princesa specifically to do some adventure activities that require a permit, eg. climbing Mt Kinabalu or go on a 4 Days Mulu Pinnacles Tour, then it is wiser to check with us on accomodation availability first before booking your flights. However, we do have allotments in some instances and if our allotments are full on your required date, we will try our best to see what we can do. 



5. How do I make payment for my booking from the website?

You can make your payment immediately by credit card ( VISA/MASTER ) after you choose your packages or trips, then fill in the particular  on the page before proceeding to the payment page. 

6. Will my credit card payment be secure on the website?

Yes, your credit card payment will be very secure as the payment will be made in a HTTPS protocol. HTTPS  is actually Hyper Text Transfer Protocol with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), HTTPS is another protocol primarily developed with secure, safe Internet transactions in mind.

7. How do I check my bookings after payment?

The system will send you an automatied reply informing you of the payment that you have made. This automated reply will also serve as your online booking invoice order with receipt. 

8. How do I know if my payment went through?  

The System will automatically send you an invoice with receipt  when you have successfully make through the payment. After payment has been made online and cleared, or offline by cash bank in or Maybank2u to our Maybank account,  then our staff will email you and contact you about your tour bookings and flight tickets if any. 

9.  How do I check-in to the airport?

You will be given an e-ticket which we will send to your email. You just use this e-ticket to check in with the eticket no through the airport Kiosk machine. Pls note the eticket no is the flight ticket no and is not the eticket reference no. 

10. Does the tour price include international flights?

The prices quoted on the site do not include international flights. If you would like to know more on the enquiry please feel free to let us know on the Contact Us page and let us know all your travel plans, including your international flights. 

11. Do I need to tip the local guide?

Yes, you are required to.

12. What's included in the trip cost?

The trip cost will cover the tours, accomodation and meals exclusive on flight depends on the Tours Packages selected.

13. Can I book extra accomodation for the start or end of the tour?

Yes, in all cases, we can organise extra accommodation for the start and end of the tour. Just let us know and we’ll organise a quote for you. We also have trip extensions in many of the destinations we travel to, more details are on this website or contact us to let us know.

14. What form of transport do we use?

Some by air, land and sea depending on the destination package selected.

15. What standard of hotels should I expect?

The hotels are in clean, well-appointed, centrally located and have private bathrooms. When we go to out of the way places, we often stay as guests of local people in simple huts or longhouses for a night or two. They may not have the trappings of a hotel, but these accommodations are part of the adventure of exploring a country, and our travellers find these stays a highlight of their trip. Aside from being more interesting places to stay than bland hotels, they also help to keep costs down, and by supporting local businesses you help the local economy. In short, our trips don not go for international five-star hotels but they serve up five-star experiences instead.

16. If I do not have credit card, can I pay by bank transfers from within Malaysia?

17. What is your cancellation policy and Refunds? 

If the customer is forced to cancel the holiday before the holiday start because of serious injury, death, or serious illness of themselves or a close relative, such as a parent , or any member of the holiday party, the following shall apply

If forced to cancel more than 1 month the holiday start date and after payment of the fund, 50% of payment made will be refunded ( for ground tour) less administrative fee if any. For Flight bookings that we have booked for you, it will be non refundable for this portion.

For Mt Kinabalu climb booking, all payment made is non refundable as Sabah Park observes a non cancellation and non date postponement policy after booking and payments are made. reserves the right to alter its payment and cancellation terms during certain Peak Season periods , as per our Suppliers Terms and Conditions


18. What is the age limit for going on the tour?

As our tour ranges from free and easy to extreme adventure sports, so the age limit for free and easy for family tour can be from infant upwards. For the extreme adventure, it would be for a child of reasonably fitness to handle such sport activities. 


19. Are your tours and option for single traveller?

If you do not mind joining other groups, then we may be able to arrange. If there is no such tour on your desired date, then you may pay more for the guide to just take you on the tour. 


20. When is the best time to visit Borneo?

During year end from October to March are generally wet season. From April onwards, the weather tend to be warm and sunny and best for travelling around Borneo. In Malaysia, it rains all year round so do expect some occasional rain. 


21. What is Tourism Tax?

It is the recently passed law, Tourism Tax Act 2017 that requires all tourists to Malaysia to pay a Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night for every night that they stay at any of the hotels in Malaysia. It does not apply to Permanent Residents or those with a working permit.
